Airkix has in excess of 70 investors and they are represented by the Board as follows:

Simon Ward - Chairman & CEO

Simon has over 20 years successful experience at board level in commercial management, marketing and business development for GWR Group plc, which was the UK's largest radio company and has since been bought and taken private.

Simon is also highly regarded as a producer of specialist skydiving footage and adventure sports stills photographs and with an international reputation. He has produced and filmed for a number of high-prestige films, advertisements, documentaries and TV shows and has an enormous adventure sports photographic library that is used worldwide. He has been involved in a number of World records and stunts in many aspects of aviation and was the driving force and chairman of the UK skydiving record, Brit100, on two occasions.

Simon has owned and operated three skydiving related businesses and is passionate about skydiving, having over 4,100 jumps which have taken him to all parts of the World. He has been publicly recognised for his many and varied achievements by the presentation of the Royal Aero Club (RAeC) Silver Medal, which was presented by Prince Andrew (with whom he also sat on an annual aviation based photographic judging panel).

David Windsor-Clive - Non Executive Director

David is a significant shareholder in the business and brings a wealth of experience from start-up companies to plc board experience that included a director role with Southampton Leisure Holdings plc, the parent company of Southampton Football Club.

David is a Board Director who has demonstrated genuine entrepreneurial flair as one of the early pioneers of the new economy in the UK, with a proven track record in building, leading and managing a business in a rapidly developing market. His background includes the financial markets to being an early pioneer in the online retail trading world. He lives in Oxfordshire.

John O'Sullivan - Non Executive Director

John also brings significant director-level experience to the company from start-up to plc level. John is the Managing Director of Juice Associates, a business development and consulting company he founded in 2000. His executive experience with companies such as BT, Compaq, Telewest and Ronson, together with the experience he has gained from assisting many companies to launch and grow through Juice Associates makes him a valuable member of the team.

John’s experiences in branding, consumer marketing and the internet and e-commerce sector development have already been utilised in the run up to our launch. He lives in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire with his wife and three girls, all of whom will be early testers of the Airkix facility.

The rest of the team

Most important is the Aircrew team that serve the daily needs of our customers, they include managers, sales & marketing, accounts, instructors and customer receptionists. They are the backbone of the business. Additional to the Aircrew are a team of advisors and contractors that include:
