At Airkix we get hundreds of charity requests every year. Sadly, it's just not possible to support them all. This is what we currently do and at the bottom of the page are two ways we can assist your fundraising efforts:
OUR NATIONAL CHARITY: BRITISH LIMBLESS EX-SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION (BLESMA)
We are delighted to support this fantastic charity in its quest to enable limbless veterans to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
I can’t speak highly enough of the Airkix experience. At BLESMA we deal with wounded Soldiers and Veterans, some of whom have really traumatic injuries and severe disabilities. Going in the tunnel allows them to experience something which is completely outside the norm, and watching the difference that makes is incredible. Having the feeling of flying is amazing for those of us who are fully able bodied, it’s like nothing else I’ve ever done, but having that freedom for guys and girls with limited mobility can be life changing.
The experience itself is only half the story though, Airkix wouldn’t be what it is without the staff. For one thing, they are absolute masters of what they do, they can manipulate the air around their body in way which looks like magic to the rest of us. That ability inspires such confidence in others that they can do some truly crazy stuff whilst still feeling completely safe. The other thing is that they can’t do enough to help, Airkix instructors have in turn coached our skydiving team to a pretty impressive standard, and taken the time to help and bring on some people who you just wouldn’t have thought were capable.
My message to anyone considering Airkix is twofold: 1) Do it, you won’t regret it. 2) If you think you can’t do it, you can, so go and have a look at point 1 again!

HOW WE CAN ASSIST YOUR FUNDRAISING?
We can help you in two ways:
- We will provide a 20% discount to any registered charity wishing to use Airkix flights to aid their fundraising. The 20% saving will allow your charity to purchase flight vouchers at a significant saving and subsequently auction, raffle or offer them as a prize.
- We can also offer a substantial discount to anyone who brings a group of at least 20 people, for two flights each, during midweek, term time with a view to raising money for a registered charity. We will charge only £25 per head for each member of your party - close to a 40% discount on our usual rate. After the event, we will then make a donation of £10 per flyer directly to your nominated charity - at least £200! How cool is that! To help you plan your charity day you may care to download this poster/registration form which you can use to promote your big day to friends, family and colleagues.
