Each tunnel operates a local sales & marketing role that may be split between individuals and will have the support of central resource including Sales & Marketing strategy, design, PR, literature and marketing materials, pricing and other functions.

Duties

This is a customer-facing area and responsible for selling to large customers and local businesses. The job will range from selling, public relations, marketing, answering emails, phones, attending marketing events and customer relations. The roles will also be responsible for building and using the customer database effectively.

Personality, Skills and Experience

Successful applicants with be enthusiastic, outward going, diligent, systematic and thorough. It is likely that they will have a background in sales, marketing and promotion and, ideally, in the leisure sector.

They will be used to working towards targets and working within budgets and will be self-motivated and able to use their initiative.

They will have:

• Strong sales and PR skills
• Great customer service attitude
• Proven track record in sales or marketing
• An understanding of communications through database marketing
• Strong understanding of e-marketing including social network applications
• Leisure or retail experience
• A friendly and outgoing nature
• A ‘can do’ attitude
