Can I fly?

Anyone in reasonable health & fitness can fly but you should check the list to ensure that you are ok to do so. See our Statement of Risk here for more explantation.

You can fly as long as you:

• Do not weigh more than 18 stone (252lbs or 114kg) - exceptions can be made for tall and generally fit people - it's a weight to height thing!
• Are not younger than 5 years of age unless you can comfortably wear one of our helmets and are with a parent
• Are not pregnant
• Have not previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder - if you have we advise you to get a doctor's opinion and discuss with us
• Are not under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
• Are not wearing a hard cast
• Have signed our statement of risk (available online and remember that anyone under 18 will require a parent or guardian's signature so make sure you do that before arriving)

If you wear glasses, we can supply goggles that can fit over them.

Additionally:

• Anyone with a history of neck or back problems or heart conditions should seek advice from their doctor before flying

Assuming that you meet the criteria above, you can fly.

Flying the disabled

We have quite a number of regular customers who are disabled and we will do our very best to fly anyone with a disability. Please note that this is almost always possible where the disability is physical.

Owing to the extra attention normally required we ask that you contact us first and that you take one of our 'Learn to Fly' packages on a weekday as this will ensure we have enough time.

Whilst we cannot guarantee you will fly we can guarantee that we will try our best to help you fly.
