As sponsors of Team Airkix who became World Champions, we started free Tuesday Night Coaching. Now you get get free coaching from a variety of World class skydivers every Tuesday.

All you need do is call Airkix on 0845 331 6549 or 01908 247770 or email skydive@airkix.com and book 10 minutes of tunnel time in the evening at normal rates, add a small registration fee of £15 (only once per month) that also covers a DVD and we’ll schedule you in. Don’t forget that where you fly with other participants you’ll get extra tunnel time at no extra cost.

Each month we run a basic syllabus over the Tuesday nights and you select which ones you can make. We’ll even culminate with a bit of competitive flying on the last week of each month for anyone interested.

Don’t forget the programme caters for all levels of flyer and can be tailored to your needs.

The Airkix Tuesday Night Coaching Programme

A 1 on 1 coaching service, available to everyone at any level:

• Provides a structure for learning the basic skills from scratch.
• Great for getting rid of those bad habits.
• Quickest way for gaining currency, muscle memory and sharpening skills.
• Enables focus on personal flying skills so often neglected during skydives.

What’s it all about?

• The programme follows a series of defined modules, however we can tailor coaching to suit specific needs according to ability.
• You don’t need to look for other people to share with, just phone up and book yourself in.
• The modules are designed to be flexible allowing students to progress at a pace that suits them.
• Each week starts and finishes with a consolidation exercise to revise previous weeks’ learning.

Booking in for your Airkix coaching is easy:

• Give us a call on 0845 331 6549 0r 01908 247772
• Purchase at least 1 x 10 minute block at £110 (off peak skydiver rates). This buys you 10 minutes in the tunnel and coaching from the best.
• If you want to buy more than one slot on the course, that’s great. Price for 20 minutes is £210 and price for 30 minutes is £310.
• Why not book 4 consecutive Tuesdays? This will enable a quicker progression through the stages. A booking of four consecutive Tuesday’s costs £410 and includes a free Airkix T-shirt or baseball cap.
• Ad-hoc bookings are fine - each session will include a refresher of your last session before you progress to the next stage.
• A £15 registration is charged just once on your first session of the month. It includes DVD coverage of your flying to enable accelerated learning and effective debriefing and a training record card.

How the sessions work:

• The coaching session runs each Tuesday, with the briefings starting at 8.00pm.
• You will fly between 8.30pm – 9.30pm.
• During each session you will receive 10 minutes tunnel time (NB tunnel time includes getting in and out of the tunnel and airflow).
• You will receive a DVD debrief from 9.30pm – 10.00pm.

Group bookings:

• If you are unable to make Tuesday nights, we can cater for groups who require coaching, (please give us notice).
• Minimum booking time is 1 hour at a cost of £610 plus registrations.
  

Typical Coaching Syllabus

Stage 1 module:

• Basic body position and positional strength
• Primary grip taking principles
• Forwards & backwards movement
• Slow and fast fall movement

Stage 2 module:

• Leg awareness
• Side-ways movement
• 90 degree turns
• 180 degree turns

Stage 3 module:

• Out facing sideways movement
• In facing 360 degree turns
• Out facing 360 degree turns
• Advanced positional strength

Stage 4 module:

• In facing super positioning turns
• Backwards super positioning turns
• Outfacing super positioning turns
• Vertical transitions
