On the Day
Congratulations, you're coming to Airkix. Here's how to make the best of your visit.
Before you leave
- Fill out your Statement of Risk online
(it's easier and quicker) - Download our useful flight info (PDF)
- Dress in comfy clothes (shirts without collars are best)
- Wear lace-up trainers
- Bring a hairbrush if you have long hair
Most importantly, remember that your Airkix flight is like a normal flight, if you miss it, it's gone.
So make sure you leave in good time.
At Airkix (60 mins before your flight)
- Arrive at Airkix - an hour before your flight
- Check-in and sign your Statement of Risk.
Under 18s will need a parent/guardian to do so - Meet your instructor
- Watch the training video, Q&A with your instructor
- Gear up
- Make your way to the flight chamber
FLY - and don't forget to smile
- Wave to the family and friends who've come to watch
- Enter the tunnel, take your flights
- Don't forget to smile at the camera
Most importantly, remember that your Airkix flight is like a normal flight, if you miss it, it's gone.
After you fly
- Back-slapping, high-fiving, smiles all around etc
- Get your flight certificate
- Pick up your DVD or Photos if you wanted them
- Book your return flight (at a cheaper rate)
